This diorama was almost a yr. in the making. It depicts the U.S.S. Arizona on or about December 10th 1941. After the fires had died and before the salvage began. I built this in honor of those that served aboard her and to all service members.
I cannot take credit for this photograph. I thought some of my aviation friends here on deviant might like it. And for those younger than thirty......this is a radial aircraft engine built in Czechoslovakia around 1920. The radial engine is a real aircraft engine......just saying....lol Note the copper jugs with no cooling vanes....she was liquid cooled one of the first.
